Yes. Father so-and-so may be a great man all-around. Perhaps he teaches the faith with precision and accuracy. BUT, in practice he is an ecumenist if he communes unrepentant heterodox in the congregation. Yes, he may not intellectually reject ecumenism, but he still communes the heterodox, which makes him an ecumenist in practice; and thus, a heretic.
