We don’t realize the depth of the falsehood we are surrounded by. We swim in an ocean of lies much like a fish swims in water. Having grown up in the modern world, I was very much living and breathing lies and even enjoying my self-deception. But Jesus Christ called me out of this darkness and gradually, through obedience to his commandments, I’ve seen little glimpses of true light. It’s only a tiny, tiny amount. But enough to cut across the hardness of my heart.
I desire to share my experience thus far for the spiritual benefit of others.

Let’s see what John the Theologian has to say (in his gospel, chapter 2):
“And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For all who do evil hate the light and do not come to the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed. But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.”
